Day ten-ten day reboot

I am so glad to have made it to the end, I have to admit there were times that I thought about giving up but I am so glad I persevered.

Making the last few juices in the morning was a bit of a scrabble of the fruit and vegetable left. I did go to Out of the Woods for a catch up at lunchtime, to my surprise they do juices to although the one I had tasted more like a slushy as it was made with frozen fruit and blended, not great and I left most of it. The lemongrass tea however was very refreshing.

At the end of the day I treated myself to a ‘create your own’ juice at Millies. I decided to combine apple, pineapple and beetroot it was surprisingly ok.

I have to admit it has been hard writing about food and not eating it, so I will be have to start tackling the backlog of posts I have.  I will definitely incorporate juicing into my diet in the future as all of the juices tasted pretty good and ‘refreshing’ as my Dad put it.

I am so glad to finally be able to reduce my caffeine intake. I think this is the biggest change from the whole experience that will make a major difference in my life.

I have to stress that this reboot was more around giving my body a detox and not entirely about weight loss, but any loss is a perk.

Finally hit the scales to discover after ten days I have lost 12lb its been great that some many people have commented on my glowing skin (have to stress I am not pregnant).

I would have to say that the hardest day on the reboot was the third one. This was the same when I did the five day reboot. I think if you get over this, you will be able to do as many days as you like.

The one thing that I am looking forward to tomorrow is a massive pack of mango, not juiced.

Day six- Ten day reboot

Today took a lot of coordination as we were here, there and everywhere. We had a to do list as long as my arm and very little time to do it.

The massive fail on my part was forgetting my coconut water, to make matters worse we could not find anywhere that sold it. To be fair we were not looking that hard and did come across a couple but they were all laden with added sugar.
