We first went to Double Tree because my brother and his girlfriend where staying at the hotel whilst visiting us in Leeds. It must have been good as they have stayed there on several occasions since.

Other Half and I love nothing more than popping up to the SkyLounge at the end of the night, not only is it one of the easiest places for us to get a taxi home from, the service is good and their range of spirits makes it the perfect place for a night cap.

Leeds loves food – The fortnight that was….

The sun was shining for Leeds foodies for the last weekend of the two week food festival Leeds Loves Food. As a city we grazed, nibbled and gorged our way through all the wonderful food this city has to offer.

The last two weeks have been jam packed with fringe food event has been amazing, I was astounded to discover that an estimated 60,000 people, over twice the population of Morley, descended on Millennium Square for the finale weekend.
