Day five – Ten day reboot

I can see the half way line!

We are off to Birmingham for the weekend so, I am taking the juicer with us. I wanted to get a Joe Cross like contraption so that I can juice at the back of my car alas even it I could find a sort of battery pack to make that happen, the back of our MINI can just about fit our bags let along a juice station.

I know that I could have made up a some juices bottles and take them with me but, I know my Dad wanted to see the juicer in the flesh and see it in action.

The drive down was a little hard, loads of Friday night traffic and roadworks, usually halfway through the journey I would get a massive coffee and a packet (ok, well several packets) of jelly beans. This time round all I had was hot water with lemon  and a beetroot juice. I may not have missed the coffee as much as I thought but really missed my  jelly beans fix.

I tried to make a juice with the watermelon but failed miserably, I think that a cantaloupe or yellow honeydew might have worked better. Its was not a complete fail as everyone (apart from me) had watermelon for dessert.

Had a nice cup of detox tea at the end of the night, I am not a massive fan of licorice but I think that the subtle blend make the tea smell as good as it tastes.
